Event check-in and the 5-hour mutual match
Event check-in on thelovestar.com proves you were in the room. After start, you have 5 hours to submit anonymous yes/no. A mutual match is the only path to a follow-up email and chat. There is no public “who liked you” list for the room.
Why check-in is required
Matching is for people who actually attended. The front desk at some venues (including hosted nights) will look for a completed mobile/web check-in. Compatibility scores are optional conversation context.
After the window
Only mutual yeses become matches. Notes stay private. Discover dating is a separate optional lane. App check-in is free; IRL tickets are per night on Eventbrite. See Events, speed dating, and pricing.
