Why check-in is required
Matching is for people who actually attended. The front desk at some venues (including hosted nights) will look for a completed mobile/web check-in. Compatibility scores are optional conversation context.
After the window
Only a mutual yes becomes a match. Notes stay private. People who already liked you stay on Likes, not Visits. With Premium or VIP, the chat can open as soon as the second yes happens. Without Premium or VIP, the chat opens with the match results after the event. Dating is a separate optional lane. App check-in is free.
